Creole Gumbo Jazz Band – Saturday, 11/20
November 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Dixieland! Fun, toe-tapping music provided by Jim Ritter on the cornet, with Tom Holtz on the tuba, Rick Rowe on the banjo, Gary Gregg on the clarinet. Enjoy Jim Ritter’s wry wit and tidbits of jazz history about how this music developed in New Orleans between 1900 and 1929. The tunes are mostly from the Roaring Twenties when jazz was America’s most popular music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYqsEZjUo4g
Reserve early – this is a popular group! Tables of 4, if possible.
